Looking for produce from New Roots for Refugees farmers and graduates? You've come to the right place! 

On this site you can purchase a farm share subscription, place weekly orders, and pick up from convenient locations around the metro, or place a wholesale order for delivery if you are restaurant, grocery store, or other food retailer wanting to source our delicious produce. Our online farm store brings fresh, healthy, locally grown food to you, the buyer, on a weekly basis.

Getting started

To purchase farm shares or place orders from our online farm store, the first step is to Register as a CustomerCheck out our website to learn more about New Roots for Refugees.

What's new this week?

Visit our Product List page to see what we've got each week. Availability is updated on Sundays, and online purchases can be made Monday afternoon-Tuesday afternoon. Wholesale purchases can be made Monday afternoon-Wednesday afternoon.

FURTHER INFORMATION

CSA RULES:

  • The distribution window for weekly farm share pick-up is 1.5 hours at each of our 4 locations: 

    • Plexpod Westport Commons: Wednesday 11:30am-1pm 

    • Black and Veatch World Headquarters: Wednesday 4:30pm-6pm 

    • The Merc Co+Op KCK: Thursday 11:30am-1pm 

    • Ten Thousand Villages: Thursday 4:30pm-6pm 

  • If you cannot pick up your share at your assigned distribution site, email Veronica Ma Ket, vmaket@catholiccharitiesks.org, at least 48 hours in advance to change pick-up locations; last minute pick-up location changes cannot be accommodated 

  • If you have someone else pick up your share, they simply need to provide your name at the pick-up location 

  • If you would like to pay with SNAP/EBT benefits, please reach out to our Sales Coordinator, Morgan Murphy, at mmurphy@catholiccharitiesks.org
  • If your share is not picked up, it will be donated 

  • If there are any issues with your share after pick-up, email Veronica Ma Ket, vmaket@catholiccharitiesks.org, immediately; after 24 hours, we may not be able to resolve the issue 

  • New Roots is unable to offer refunds or cancel shares 


WHOLESALE RULES: 

  • Minimum amount per order must be $50 for all orders 

  • There is a $10 delivery fee if your order is $50 or less 

  • Provide directions for the delivery site, if applicable 

  • Our delivery time is Thursdays between 1 PM to 4 PM 

  • Inspect produce upon delivery and contact Sales Specialist, Veronica Ma Ket at vmaket@catholiccharitiesks.org within one hour to resolve any issues 

  • Place orders through the Local Food Marketplace website: https://newrootskc.localfoodmarketplace.com/ 



ONLINE RULES:
