Bawi Hmung and his wife Zing Te are from Myanmar. They are from the Chin ethnic group and have lived in the United States since 2013. Bawi’s favorite part of farming is the initial planting and watching plants be able to grow to harvest. He sells at the Merriam Farmers’ Market every Saturday.
